Good Morning,
We just returned from a wonderful beach vacation. It was nothing too exotic just our local beach but being able to stay a few steps from the beach for a few days is amazing.
Usually when we go on a vacation I try to make al ittle treat box or goody bag with little fun things each kid might like. I usually put in a favorite candy, maybe a special cup or in this case sunscreen and chapsticks. I love that it makes them feel special and it starts the trip off on a good note.
This time since we were not going to far and this trip was a last minute booking so I did something on a smaller scale. I loved these sand pails by Lori Whitlock, just perfect for our trip.
I used a Bo Bunny Collection I have had in my stash for years. I love its bright colors and different shape patterns which I thought would be fun on these pails. The shovel is part of the cut file which I used as name tags adhered by dimensional glue dots.
This file cuts out strips for the pail lip as well as the handle which is pre cut for a brad. I liked that it gave movement to the project.
This is a fairly simple project that comes together realtively easy. If your doing a beach theme vacation or party, I think these would be great.
Supply List:
- Silhouette Cameo
- Lori Whitlock Designs Cut file “Sand Pail Shaped Box”
- 12×12 patterned paper (I used Bo Bunny)
- 2 brads
- dimensional adhesive
- regular adhesive
- Alphabet stickers or cut out from the silhouette
Hope you are enjoying some summer fun!
Until next time!
Adorable and such a cute idea. Thank you for sharing.

Love these little bags, and they’re so incredibly well made.
Congratulations on such a truly marvellous make.

(apologies for the late comment, I’m trying to catch up with things I’ve missed while real life was behaving like a spoilt child and demanding attention!)
