Good Morning,
This past week I have been in a serious creative mode so I am excited to share my latest projects with you. However, I am not so eager to clean up the huge mess I created in the process.
Today I am sharing a 12×12 scrapbook page I created with the new Doodlebug Fall Collection “Flea Market”. I love the bright clear colors as well as their new cut files for Silhouette.
This collection reminds me of farms, the countryside and of course treasures found at a flea market. The image of the old truck is one my favorites, to me, it embodied the whole feeling of the collection. When the truck was included in new cut files for Silhouette, I knew I wanted to build a scrapbook page around it. The Doodlebug files are very user-friendly with the right amount of layers and details to customize the cut. The file has a shadow layer which I used to cut chipboard. (I like the stability chipboard adds to larger die cuts.) Aside from the truck and the road, the rest of the papers, embellishments and die cuts are all Doodlebug. I filled the truck with die cuts from the “odds and ends” pack. (I think these packs are the best deal in town. 78 pieces for a few dollars) I poured all the die cuts on my desk then had fun trying different options to fill up the truck bed.
The hills are cut from the” Petite Prints Gingham and Linen” collection. I think the gingham is perfect for the countryside feel. The trees are all a part of the “odds and ends” pieces. The “apples” in the tree come from the new matte enamel dots.
I used the small frames (odds and ends pack) to use cropped Instagram photos or for journaling. The large sticker sheet perfect size words to embellish the frames.
Finally, I created the photo mat from my favorite pattern paper of the collection, the plaid. The design looks good with every color plus I like how it easily ties all the colors on the page together. The embellishments on the top and bottom are adhered in a way to allow for a photo slide under them.
I have more to come from Doodlebug’s Flea Market collection. There is a sneak peek on my Instagram if you are curious.
I always appreciate the visit and welcome your comments.
Until next time……
Cute, cute, cute! What great colors for the fall! 🙂

This is super. So many tiny little touches. I love the apples, and the tiny little hearts and words under the photo frames. The flower power truck is pretty cool too!
